This painting has many layers, and hidden details within each layer; much like a dream has many hidden messages. Some messages we may remember when we awake, while others are almost meant to be left in the space and time it occupied while asleep. I think the important ones find a way to make themselves known to us.... maybe in a quiet whisper when we awake. In the subconscious thoughts that suddenly appear out of nowhere, either way I try to be aware of these new thoughts or ideas and let them direct me to my next venture.
